By accessing, viewing and/or using this site, you, the user, indicate and agree that you understand and intend these Terms and Conditions of Use to be the legal equivalent of a signed, written contract that is equally binding, and that you agree to such Terms and Conditions of Use. If you do not agree with such Terms and Conditions, you are instructed not to use this site.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY:

BY REQUESTING IN-HOME SERVICE, THE CUSTOMER OR THE PERSON AUTHORIZED TO ALLOW US TO ENTER THE HOME THAT’S REQUIRING SERVICE IS AGREEING TO RELEASE BRADLEY’S APPLIANCE SERVICE LTD AND ITS SERVICE AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY TO PROPERTY OR APPLIANCES.

Bradley’s Appliance Service is not responsible for any personal injury or property damages resulting from any appliance service, installation, delivery, and haul away.

Some appliance service requires us to uninstall and reinstall the appliance which we may need disconnection of the power supply, water supply, and gas supply. We may need to turn the breaker off to your appliance. In some cases when the breaker is is not labelled correctly we may turn off the wrong breaker or may need to shut down the entire house.

When turning the breaker(s) back on, if any complication to other devices or appliances that were powered down occur will be the sole responsibility of the Customer. When reconnecting the appliance, there may be complications with the shut off valves, gas, water, and electrical connecting. Any issues related to the appliance installation from these connections due to poor installation or faulty connections will be the sole responsibility of the Customer.

Bradley’s Appliance Service is not responsible for any damages to any appliances that have to be moved from the cabinet opening for service. Any damages to the floors, cabinets, countertops, walls, surrounding area, and to the appliance itself are the sole responsibility of the Customer. If the appliance is not installed to the manufacture’s specs and/or the appliance is not accessible due to obstructions or improper installations, the Customer will be responsible for uninstalling the appliance for service and reinstalling after service has been completed. Bradley’s Appliance Service and their Service Agents will take great care and all precautions when performing service in your home. But in the event that some type of personal injury or property damage does occur, it will be the sole responsibility of the Customer.

If you refuse to waive liability, it will be your responsibility to disconnect, move, and reconnect the appliance as necessary for us to access and service the appliance. It is also our right to refuse service if you do not choose to waive all liability.

Submissions to Bradley’s Appliance Service Ltd:

Subject to the terms and provisions of the Privacy Policy of this web site, any non-personal information that you submit to Bradley’s Appliance Service through this website shall not be considered or treated as confidential information, and shall be the exclusive property of Bradley’s Appliance Service. Bradley’s Appliance Service shall not be deemed to share any confidential or fiduciary relationship with the submitter of such information. Bradley’s Appliance Service may use such information for any purpose without restriction, liability or compensation.

Bradley’s Appliance Service may provide links, in its sole discretion, to other sites on the internet for the convenience of its users in locating related information and services. Moreover, such links do not imply an endorsement with respect to any third party, any web site, or the products or services provided thereby in any transaction. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products should be directed to the third-party.

User Comments, Feedback and Other Submissions:

We may, but have no obligation to, monitor, edit or remove content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property or these Terms of Service.
You agree that your comments will not violate any right of any third-party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your comments will not contain libelous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false e-mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as to the origin of any comments. You are solely responsible for any comments you make and their accuracy. We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any comments posted by you or any third-party.

PRIVACY POLICY:

By visiting and/or using this site, you consent to this Privacy Policy and to Bradley’s Appliance Service’s collection and sharing of your personally identifiable information according to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Bradley’s Appliance Service may share personally identifiable information with its affiliates, employees, accountants, and agents; with distributors or dealers of appliance products and services.

CONSENT: When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

DISCLOSURE: We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECURITY: To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES: In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

WARRANTY:

Parts Warranty: Parts warranty varies between manufacturer,  distributor, and type of parts.

Service Call: The Service Call fee will be covered for 30 days for problems related to exact same issues as the initial service call only. Intermittent problems or any problems not directly related to previous service are not covered under the 30 day service call warranty. Service Call Warranty only applies to service provided within Calgary. No warranty for ice makers, water dispensers and ice dispenser.

Labour: Labour is covered for any parts that were replaced for 30 days only. Labour is not covered for intermittent problems or any problems that is not directly related to replaced components. No warranty for ice makers, water dispensers and ice dispenser.

Travel: Travel fees are not covered under warranty.

SERVICE:

Parking: Parking will be the customer’s responsibly to provide. For streets that have Restricted Permit Parking only, the customer must provide a permit to park. Any parking tickets accrued while provided service will be the customer’s responsibly to cover. If parking is not available, the Service Agent will cancel service.

Cancellations: Please notify us by e-mail 24 hours prior to the date of service for cancellation or rescheduling to avoid service charges. (This also applies to in-warranty service) If service is cancelled less than 24 hours before service, service charges will apply.

Out-Of-Warranty Service: Payment must be provided upon completion of service. If payment will not be onsite then a credit card must be provided before service starts. Please contact our office and arrange payment. Service will not be performed if there is no authorization of repair and payment provided either onsite or over the phone. Return trip charge will apply for services not completed if payment is not available onsite.

Please notify us by e-mail 24 hours prior to the date of service for cancellation or rescheduling to avoid service charges. This also applies to in-warranty appliance service.
